Hatzegopteryx Model Review
I was recently asked to review this Hatzegopteryx model: http://www.flickr.com/photos/_quagga/8613016126/in/set-72157633143744671/ Unfortunately, there is very little in the way of Hatzegopteryx fossils, so most reconstructions are based on its close relative Quetzalcoatlus. Platypterygius vs ?
120 million years ago an icthyosaur named Platypterygius fought with another marine reptile. It survived, but was scared on its snout. The question is, what made these wounds? Kronosaurus vs Platypterygius Kronosaurus was the top predator at that time. It’s … Continue reading

Baby giant ground sloth in my back garden!
I like things big. So it is not suprising that I made a ground sloth in my garden using snow. Bigger than a snowman (though smaller than an adult ground sloth) this is one huge baby! If you have a … Continue reading

More prehistoric colour
This time the colourful animal in question is not a dinosaur but a penguin. When it was discovered we had the technology to find colour, straight away the tests were done. Suprisingly the penguin, instead of being black and white … Continue reading
